Flights within mexico

Aeromexico is Mexico’s largest airline, comparable to Delta. It’s a great airline, but also the most expensive. Since most domestic flights are relatively short, opting for another airline is also a good option. 

VivaAerobus and Interjet are smaller airlines that fly within Mexico and neighboring countries. These are more economical airlines, but also have stricter policies (i.e. you may have to check your luggage because carry on policies tend to be stricter). When booking these airlines double check your name is spelled correctly on your booking and that you pay for your carry on or checked luggage when booking (it may save you money). We recommend paying the small additional fee to select your seat at the time of booking rather than being assigned one during check-in.
